In the “hang-up” installation, the artist’s self-portrait abseils down from the wall and again draws a calligraphic sketch of a grimace on the wall. The work also refers to the actions of the increasingly popular 1UP crew and Berlin Kidz in Berlin. Here, too, it is about the change in communication – but also about the change in the need for recognition and the renewed search for rebellion among today’s youth.
