hang-up

In der Installation »hang-up« seilt sich das Selbstbildnis des Künstlers von der Wand ab und zeichnet wieder kalligraphisch eine Fratzen-Skizze an die Wand. Die Arbeit lehnt sich an die Aktionen der heute immer populärer werdenen 1UP-Crew und Berlin Kidz in Berlin. Auch hier geht es um die Veränderung der Kommunikation – aber auch um den Wandel des Geltungsbedürfnisses und die Suche nach Rebellion bei der heutigen Jugend.

This is an edition / multiple (5 copies), consisting of a "grimace" drawing directly on the wall (therefore always unique) and a figure (height 25cm) - self-portrait of the artist.

The special attraction of the work is that the artist Peer Kriesel draw directly on the wall at the place of installation and let myself be individually inspired by the environment in the »Freestyle«.
